Beware of snatch-and-grab by motorcycles.

Today, a purse snatching was reported in the Hokuei area. The perpetrator used a motorcycle, approached the victim from behind, and stole his bag as he passed him. To avoid becoming a victim, please take the following measures: 1) choose a safe street with pedestrian traffic; 2) pay attention to your surroundings, including the sound of the motorcycle from behind; 3) use anti-snatching covers and other crime prevention goods; 4) be aware of how you carry your bag, for example by moving it away from the road side; and 5) take extra care to avoid becoming a victim.
Also, if you see a suspicious person ・ or vehicle, please call 110 or the Urayasu Police Station immediately.
