I currently have a family law case regarding child custody pending outside of California and am looking for someone who can provide urgent consultation ・ and assistance.

I am looking for an attorney who can consult ・ and communicate with me in Japanese.

If you know of any attorneys, legal aid organizations, or legal assistance programs for low-income individuals who have experience with custody issues and interstate jurisdiction matters and can handle this at the lowest possible cost, I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide.

As time is of the essence, if you know of anyone who can provide a consultation soon or any support organizations, I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide.

Thank you in advance.

Since I’m getting older, I’d like to leave a will for my sons.
What’s the typical fee for a consultation? ？
Is there a system like the one in Japan where the first 30 minutes are free? ？

Masami

I live in Hawaii, but since things vary greatly depending on the lawyer and the time period,

it’s wise to ask an AI. For details like what they’re like or how old they look, I think the experiences of people who’ve recently used a lawyer would be helpful.

If anyone has had a similar experience with Global Entry and TSA, please let me know.
This was my first time using Global Entry to return to Japan. While I was able to use Global Entry without any issues when returning to the U.S., I was unable to use TSA PreCheck.
When I checked at the JAL counter, I was told that the issue might be because the name registered with Global Entry didn’t exactly match the name on my passport.
When I applied for Global Entry, I couldn’t apply using my Japanese passport name, so I applied using the name I’m registered under in the U.S. As a result, although the name differs from the one on my passport, I entered my Japanese name in the “Other names （ Other names ）” field, and my application was approved based on that information.
If anyone has had a similar experience or knows how to handle this situation, I would really appreciate your advice.

I think I’m in the same situation. Just the other day, when I went to Japan, my flight ticket was under my passport name, but my Global Entry information didn’t match because I changed my last name after getting married, so I couldn’t use TSA. However, I’ve been able to use TSA when traveling to remote islands.
When I returned to Hawaii this time, I asked a Global Entry representative which name was on file for me, and it turns out it was the one on my passport, not the one in the Global Entry system. I still don’t quite understand how the system works.
